1. The service
CargoForge, operated by CargoForge, is software for preparing transport documents (lorry receipts, transport bills and quotations) and for keeping trip records. We are not a transporter, a freight broker, a booking agent or a tax adviser, and we are not a party to any carriage or sale recorded in your documents.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
- Give accurate details, keep your password private and tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.
- You are responsible for what is done through your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- create documents for consignments, trips or transactions that did not take place, or documents intended to mislead a customer, an employer, an insurer, a lender or an authority;
- issue documents in the name of a business you do not own or are not authorised to act for;
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, or use automated means to scrape it;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being used in these ways.
4. Your documents and data
What you enter remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of your documents, for any signatures and stamps they need, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including GST, e-way bill and carriage rules. How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
5. Free plan and Pro passes
- The free plan has the limits shown on the pricing page. We may change those limits for new periods.
- Pro is a prepaid pass for a fixed number of days. It starts when your payment is confirmed and ends on the date shown in your account. It does not renew automatically.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. The price shown at checkout is the full amount charged.
- A pass bought while another is active begins when the current one ends.
- Refunds are covered by the refund and cancellation policy.
6. No professional advice; estimates
Guides, field hints and default values on the site are general information. They are not tax, legal or accounting advice. The trip calculator and trip ledger work only from figures you enter; their results are estimates. See the disclaimer.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw a paid feature during an active Pro pass in a way that materially reduces its value, you may ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
8. Intellectual property
The software, design and written content of the site belong to us or our licensors. You may use the documents you generate freely in your business.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or business, or loss arising from the content of your documents or from decisions made using estimates. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may end or suspend access for a breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on liability, do so.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any right you have as a consumer to approach another forum.
